The half century from 1960 to 2010 are sometimes [well fittingly] referred to as the Change of Winds period in Africa and the past two years have not produced any signs boding well for the 50 years from 2010 to 2060.
May we all keep our heads down, girth the loins and hope that things will change for the better.
To all of you and with love I deliver my appreciation for friendships received, for understanding and fellowships, for support over two years of ill winds and severe turbulence in our family.
God Speed to all of you.

I had some of that God speed once and I have to say that the experience was not good. It made me feel all jangly and had me rushing around trying to create universes and fix parking tickets. Truth to tell, I still prefer Bourbon or Vodka.
Merry Christmas, Ike. Love to you and your One Good Eye (that don’t sound like much but remember: the Hubble Telescope only has one, too – one / two ??? – )
OK. Don’t take any wooden nickels. Rands. Convertible Drawing Rights. U.S. Treasury notes.

Good day Nolanimrod
It must be just after midnight out your way and freezing I guess. We are having a mild cloudy day at about 70 degrees, real pleasant.
Thanks also for the humor and the good advice. I am all by myself and need some cheering up. Enjoy your day as you have succeeded in brightening mine.
2013 awaits us.

Sir Ike,
Merry Christmas to you and yours on this blessed day in which we celebrate the birth of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Peace and blessings to you my friend.

Thank you so much Lady Di
I am not up to much; it has been three bad years for our family since 2009 ending in a messy divorce for our son last year. I had to take the brunt of the aftermath and can’t wait for December 31st of 2012 to arrive and hopefully change the settings a bit.
I notice that you, Mack, Elcampeador, and a host of others are still carrying the Flag. Do go on with it; maybe I shall recover in the New Year to rejoin you folks.
I miss you all.

Sir Ike,
I am sorry for all that you have endured these past years. I cannot fathom anyone blaming you for anything. I am sorry to hear about the divorce. Divorce is hard on everyone and indeed does exact a toll.
Indeed fellow patriots are doing all that we can to fight the good fight against the tyranny that feeds upon the United States like the plague. I am honored to be on the same team as Mack, El Campeador and so many others.
I am praying Sir Ike for you and your family and also that 2013 is much kinder to you all.

Lady Di
Thanks once more; some say adversity can make you stronger and whereas that may be true it can allso drain your resources and the will to fight.
But I am otherwise healthy [except the silly eye] and it is good to be alive.
Thanks for being there.
