The habitual liar needs to have a good memory

The Time Rag should send Joe Klein to Holland to study the philosophy of Uylen Spiegel the famous bard of yesteryear from whom I borrowed my headline.

Time and particularly by word of Joe Klein always lead the anti-Bush movement with: America is not the world Cop; America must not dictate; America must learn to negotiate; America must not do this or that; America is hurting because Bush got America into this mess; America must withdraw from this and that and join the World not police it. They never stopped.

And now? The same Joe Klein tells America ‘’How Israel’s Anger Issues Hurt Us All’’ and blasts it around the Globe in the most recent Time Edition. See:

Mr. Klein is not happy at all, indeed he is very unhappy, about how Israel conducted their Election and he feels duty bound to inform them that he doesn’t like it. He laments the fact that ‘’there was no Barack Obama in the race’’ and takes another swipe at President Bush.

In irony one can only say that Joe Klein must be in trouble; he must be seriously ill after so many Elections that his favorite candidates always lost.

For Heaven’s Joe and for your own sake too my Man, practice what you always preached and leave Israel alone; Obama is not an Israeli; he was in the American Election. Go to Holland and read Uylen Spiegel.

Hello Global World [updated]

Well, hello World, and in particular all Bloggers who contributed to my decision to seek my Manifest Destiny in Blogging. I have shared many a moment of joy with many of you and I have met some of the nicest people in the World in you, and I bring you this update.

This Blog is not as bare as when I first started out and it will continue to change with the times [who said that about change somewhere?] and I hope to bring you more on the life of Uylen Spiegel and his observations of life, history, people, the trials and tribulations, joys and maybe a few sorrows, the humor and the mirth of people and the rise and fall of some according to Uylen Spiegel in his World Mirror.  I will also shortly introduce you to the views of Rip van Winkel.  Some of you may recall a fellow who slept for twenty years once; well it’s not him. 

The Rip van Winkel that you will meet one of these days slept for two hundred years!  Yes, you read it correctly; two hundred years, and he has been catching up on World Affairs; in fact he is catching up so fast that he is making history every day in this history-making times we live in; you will meet him soon in these columns.  All I ask for is your patience while I work to get him going; it will be worth waiting for.

Wish me luck because I wish you the same regardless of Michael Kinsley at the Time Rag. Fight the good fight, have fun, have joy and look at the bright side.  I have updated you on more Joe’s and will continue that too.  Watch out for a new one that I have just recently met.  You will see him in these columns very soon.
