Silent Time

Time was when the old Folks and Wise Men said ‘Silence is Golden.’  But the Rule was broken with:

His image as a World Politician was destroyed six months before he won the Election when the German Government refused to give him Brandenburg Gate; it was indeed His Waterloo in Europe.

It became so clear:

But Time heals and Time will tell, they said.  Not this Time, it seems:

Poor Former President Carter always hoped for a second term because he barely managed to hang on during the last months and just completed his first one by the grace of Reagan beating him.  His hopes must have been high for Obama to do him a second term but even that is in the balance since Friday, December 10th,2010; he must really be suffering.

It must be agony at Time.  Is that why they remain silent on Billy?

Don’t hold your breath; this Time the Colossus of the Time Ragazine may not speak out, to save their own necks.

Ike, the sooner Jimmy Carter fades into history, the better.

    • Ike Jakson Says:

      Yup Cheech

That is true about Carter. I wonder how he lives with his conscience today having come out so strongly for Obama and having witnessed the man since.

But my Post is about the Time Ragazine. You know I have been a keen Time reader for years and this one is really hilariously finny. They reported on the Press Conference and stopped right in their tracks.

All the Blogs are having a great time except Time. Obama was as much their appointment as President as those who voted for the idiot. My heart is bleeding for them.

      • Bob Mack Says:

        Howdy, Ike.
Might be the first time a President ever delegated the Presidency. But Slick Willie? Guess Obama didn’t want to hand the ball over to Gaffe-a-minute Joe Biden.

  2. Ike Jakson Says:

    Hi Mack

Thanks for popping in. You must realize as I said to Cheech above that I am having my laugh at the Time Rag; the poor lost souls have not said another word on the subject and that says or tells you more of Time than all the noise that usually emanate from their empire.

But then, Slick Willy handled that so well, didn’t he? He was so smooth; tell you, the Bama had better watch his back.

  3. Nolanimrod Says:

Jimmy Carter also had a Billy. Jimmy’s Billy sold lousy beer and did some P.R. work for the Libyans without registering as a foreign lobbyist but he never got to where he was finishing Jimmy’s sentences for him.

Say! Aren’t the Clintons hard-core racists? Or was that only for the primary?

Anyway, it should be pointed out that Billy Carter always maintained he had nothing to do with that rabbit!

    • Ike Jakson Says:

      Hi Nolanimrod

      It’s good to see you.

I actually met Billy Carter on two occasions with people who had a Guest House in Plains and they knew the whole Carter family very well. Billy was actually quite a nice friendly sort of guy and well liked by most of the local people.

Slick Willy Billy is another sort but I must say he handled the Bama real well last Friday. It was vintage Bill, and so smooth. The Bama never saw the punch coming.

      Nolanimrod

I forgot one of your points and need to admonish you for a small error; your very first ever so I won’t hold it against you.

Democrats, Liberals, Community Activists [et al] are not racists. Only people who vote Republican can lay claim to that distinction.
