4 All Old Folks around the Globe Part 4 on the Truth of why the World is in the mess that we are in today

We are celebrating Independence Day in South Africa today, the 24^th year since that Great Day on 27^th April of 1994.

I beg of my Readers to allow me to explain; once and for all.

I am a follower and admirer of Freud on the influence of the environment in the formation of character.  In science I believe in gravity and never understood that some silly asshole had to stand under a tree with an apple falling on his head to prove the Law of Gravity; that apple was never going to fall anywhere else in the first place.  In matters of Economics I still believe in the Adam Smith analysis of Supply and Demand economics.I do not believe that Wars solve anything; the only War that ever served any purpose was when the American colonists kicked the English in the ass to become the first Nation ever to kick Mother England in the ass; the only problem was that it allowed England to proceed and set them free to exploit their positions for power in Africa and India.  There is a lot in written records about their efforts to Anglicize Africa; the pity is that nobody stood up against them.  The greatest pity is that America [where they had kicked all the “Royalists’ in the ass and confiscated their American property without any “compensation” after the 1812 War of Independence stepped forward in World Wars One and Two to save England from Germany and subsequently allowed them to grab ownership of South Africa’s mineral riches.

At that time the rest of Africa except Egypt and the northern part of the Continent had been invaded by the English [then the leading seafaring nation] but assisted by Portugal, Belgium, Italy et al, each one grabbing any slice that they liked.

By the time that England forced South Africa to form a Union of South Africa under the flag of England [very conveniently excluding the original populations of the land] and only allowing participation of the colonists, at that time a mix of English, French, Hollanders and somehow enough foreign religions to call them all a “Christian Nation” and as such they were obliged to rush to the defense of England in World Wars One and Two against Germany.  I got to admit that I would not have liked being Part of a “Greater Germany” during World War Two but I wasn’t born yet; must have been conceived by Mom and Dad just about the same day that England Declared War on Germany in 1939 because I saw the light of my first day on August 3^rd 1940.  Mom told me in later years that it was on a Saturday.

However, Russia saved us from that potential disaster by defeating Germany and mercilessly hunted the remnants of the invading German armies down following their defeat in the fight for Moscow and saved England in the process.  Let us get this point clear once and for all. One: “Russia won World War Two”; it was not America that won it.  That America saved England is a fabrication of very tiny minds.

Two: “Were it not for Russia, and for China that stayed out of the silly war, the World of today would have been a different and a much better place” to live in.

America should thank their lucky stars for that and I shall deal with the South African situation in Part 5 in due course.

A short Interlude

I don’t know how long it will be but I have to take a short interlude for my eye.

It is not getting any better though I keep hoping that the deterioration has slowed down and I am taking care to protect what I have and that it doesn’t get worse.

However, I have learned that one must listen when the human body speaks.  I have had a good life; done my bit to live and let live and now face an adversary in Court on Thursday 19^th instant.  I need all my wits and powers of observation to clear that hurdle.

Blogging is not all I live for; life has more than that and the Internet is not much more than a convenient tool to me.  It is more often the opposite of that and were it not for the fact that our family ties are now spread around the globe I would live without the Net.

On the other hand it has bestowed on me the joys of meeting a few people that I would not otherwise have met.  I won’t mention names now but a few of us are in regular email contact and they mean a lot to me.  They more than make up for the negative side of the Net that I abhor and despise in human life.

To these few, thank you guys and gals; you are blessings from our Lord God to me and I hope to be that to you one day when you need a shoulder as you have been for me.

For a while therefore my contribution to this Blog will be the minimum that I feel I should do that must be done now.  I remain positive about our Country and will make my contribution to ensure a better life for all whenever or whatever I can contribute to that.  Darn and damn those who cannot see it this way simply because they do not want to see it.

Of Time and Illusions in Great Tales of Time Part Two and of the Inconvenient Truth for England

Today in History, I bring you a somewhat different view of the Inconvenient Truth as oppose the common illusions of Time gone by.

 This day in 1605, November 5^th were it not for one Englishman warning his brother who was a Lord not to go into Parliament that day and him, the Lord one, putting the warning out Guy Fawkes would have blown the Mother of Parliaments into smithereens and with it probably could have saved the World from Freedom and Democracy.

 When they became a Democracy is of course, a matter of conjecture and many Tall Tales of Illusions; only someone disavowed of all common sense would have called it a Democracy in India and their Ceylon, the latter occupied by that name they had given to Sri Lanka to which “The Great Mother of All Democracy” had banned and delivered by ship all the able bodied men who had resisted them in the Independent Republics of Transvaal and Free State that they had invaded for our gold, leaving a scorched earth and the lonely wives with children behind to die while their Husbands and Fathers suffered their fate in a distant land.

 What a pity Guy Fawkes failed?  He could even have saved the English from themselves and left a free Scotland and Ireland, the latter whom would not have sunk into the immoral mess the UK is today.

 But the mess as is evident in the collapse of their NHS may just run its full course and rid The World of the fallout that must follow on the demise of the Illusions of Freedom and Democracy.

 Good Lord, why did America want to save them from Hitler?

 In closure, my email address below still exists but I have been barred from accessing it myself, by the graciousness of a Party [or Parties] who are not fond of the common Truth.  I have checked in so far as any human being can do and Google through time and endless efforts clearly states that I exist but they can’t recognize me.  Anyone emailing me, do remind Google of my plight if you can locate a human brain hidden somewhere amongst the machines.  In the meantime WordPress still recognizes me and you will reach me with any comments in this Post, or in my Facebook.

On Time and this day 50 years ago September 6th of 1966 when a Great Man died

It was also on a Tuesday, about 10 am that morning when the news came over the radio.  I had turned 26 just one month before that fateful day and was still in the formative years of my political life; it was in any event too early for me having grown up in an apolitical home, to form an opinion of the event but it shocked South Africa in its boots.

Doctor Hendrik French Verwoerd Prime Minister was assassinated by a man of a deranged soul and mind and died in his seat in Parliament that morning.

South Africa was divided between those who mourned and those who rejoiced.

I had to make a choice, and looking back I think that I made the right choice to stay above the fray and remained aloof.

In the aftermath of all South Africa showed a good sign of the heart by declaring the killer, a lost soul with a demented mind, a ward of the State President and sent to life imprisonment where he died at quite a ripe age.

Why do I place this today?

I shall reply to that in another Post. It will have to suffice for the day that any student of history will have to consider where the World stood at that time.  It was a different World to today.

The entire World is at another road crossing than it was then.  In South Africa of today we are proud of what Hendrik Verwoerd stood for; those who differ with me on this point, in South Africa or outside, read up before you judge.

Of Time and a little humor in Politics

I break my series on Time for a brief note on a little humor in the doom and gloom of Politics of 2016.

We need it; mankind is still able to smile and a lot of it manages to slip through all the rancor that besets us about War and Terror, threats about the End that is drawing nigh; some even call it “and now the beginning of the End has begun” but that is not new either.

Have a break and smile.  My Gmail is down; our banks have fallen with the activity of all the mice, lice, the crawling black hordes of the Nether Regions have invaded our shores like locusts, leeches, parasites and clouds  of financial vermin, but there is still time for a smile.

Pause and enjoy.

It just wasn’t the right Time, Little Marco

I am in a series of Posts on Time and thought hard and long whether I may not spoil it by this Post but it had to be said; this is not always the case with Time but I realized that there are times when you have to stick your neck out regardless of the consequences.

Americans of today generally fail the Test of Time because they live in a World of make believe of some past glory that comes from somewhere in the past that they have adopted as their own without even understanding the basics of Time.

Little Marco, oh let me call you Young Marco, you messed around in an adult World.  To come today, from a youngster like you and only a first generation American to boot, to get hammered for your presumptuousness you might have been forgiven, but then to state that “America is a special place; where you come from does not determine where you are going,” heck, young man that is your problem.  Step back Marco, let the people who have been there for twelve generations, proved themselves and paid their dues, yes, let them say that.

Marco, in Russia and China you would not have had a single chance.  Ok, now I can hear you say that you don’t like them.  You also did not like your Fatherland, Marco.

In Africa you would have been fish bait within one hour after announcing your intentions.  Now don’t come telling me that you don’t like Africa either; it’s an old Continent.  The leaders appointed by their forefathers are governing; the rest do as they are told.  It works, I tell you it does.

OK, the colonials introduced a Western form of Government, telling the people they need a Democracy and things almost got out of hand, but the leading families re-introduced the old systems and advised the people that they would  call it Democracy to keep the money flowing from America and to eat MacDonald hot fries.

Bide your time, Marco.  You’ve screwed up and may not get a second chance for a long time.  Pay your dues now and just don’t force things.  Face it Marco, you only got as far as you did, and were allowed to do so by the Party to take the Don out.  You failed, Marco and the DOP [that may be new to you; it’s now spelt with a D for Dead Old Party] will remember; it’s not a Party for brash youngsters in any event.  They only used you as much as they are using Cruz now.

But that’s his problem.  Don’t you go and tarnish your name now by throwing your lot in with Cruz.

Cheerio, sonny-boy; better luck next time.

When is America ever to learn?  Will they ever learn?  How can they ever learn that politics are for men?

Putin is a Man, and so is President Xi Jinping of China to mention just two.

How can you guys ever become great again, to quote the Trump, when a failed GOP is using a snot-nosed young kid and still a first generation American baby to assassinate the character of a leading candidate?

You’ve lost it, Grand Old Party, or do you want to hand it to the Hildabeast to finally screw up good and solid the little bit that is still left of America the once Great Society?

If the joker Sharpton gets ready to emigrate, please oh please, I beg you please, don’t let him come down South of your borders.  We have too many of his ilk here already

The chasms of empty voids and the lost years of History

It is now and shows on my computer as 3:31 AM Wednesday, November 25, 2015.  This moment like any other comes but once; once it has passed no one can go back to find it.  What was left as empty voids will remain so; lost time can never be retrieved.

 

It has been tried; some have tried hard and others are still trying, by “re-writing history” but it is of no avail.

 

What has passed in lost opportunities, wrongs and errors of judgment of the recent past have all gone; tragically enough the sins of the past will be compounded by more errors and omissions in efforts to cover up for the sins of the Fathers; the children will reap the fruits of the whirlwinds that the Fathers have sown.

I have decided not to include any more quotes or links in this Post because too much has been done in that regard already.  Richard Dawkins is just one more opinionated fool that stepped into the current void the other day.

 

Where are we in the World today?

 

We are sitting on the precipice of an economic disaster.  Religion and wars with words on religion as we have never experienced in the past are sweeping across the oceans.  We don’t need Richard Dawkins and his ilk stirring in the brew; it is ugly enough.

 

Voters in the so-called Western World are making it quite clear that they are disenchanted with their Governments, but even John McCain is calling for the nukes to go out and bomb the World apart.  Thank the Lord Russia and China is keeping their heads even though Russia recently absorbed a vicious punch.

 

Where did it all go wrong?  My answer is it happened in the 50 years from 1960 to 2010.  In what should have been the healing decades after the wars of the previous 50 years something horribly went wrong.  Despite IT and the abilities through that of uniting the World, we have had the exact opposite.  An era in which communication should have made it possible to heal and repair old wounds and differences; instead it produced greater conflict, increased poverty and levels of greed previously denied but on which strife can flourish.
