One Short Interlude in my Series of Posts on Time and Related Matters

I hope this is a one-off because I want to spend the remainder of my Blogging Career on Time and matters of Time; it is something that needs to be done before I go and it needs to be done well.

For this interlude this is one of maybe two Posts on Hi-Tech, looked at from the vantage point of my time in Life.

Hi-Tech has overtaken the World and had some good in it but is now run by children and it stinks.  That is why it is a bubble that simply cannot last, not even very long after today.  I see signs that it is already crumbling at the edges in the Financial World and hope for some control over it before I depart these shores.  Today I have a challenge to Google et al, and to all the young kids that are designing hi-tech computer systems.

Wake up and develop some conscience about putting something back for those who bred you, fed you, and those that dressed you, sent you to school and often for years after that still cared for you.  Start caring for them, if you can manage that.  Remember them because your time must come too.

How about some good deed from Hi-Tech?  The first one is for Cell Phone designers.

I need a cell phone for people with eye and hearing impediments. It must have “large print on the screen” and large keys as well as a loud ringing tone; just one like the old handset phones. Don’t need no SMS, camera, icons or any rubbish; no music or videos. Come on Hi-Tech; you stink but you can’t be that stupid. And I don’t need Internet or Google or any of the stupid things on the darn instrument, just a straight simple old-time phone.  Go ahead and distribute; I shall pay cash for mine but you idiots should have some conscience and give it for FREE AND GRATIS to the folks that put you into business in the first place.

The chasms of empty voids and the lost years of History

It is now and shows on my computer as 3:31 AM Wednesday, November 25, 2015.  This moment like any other comes but once; once it has passed no one can go back to find it.  What was left as empty voids will remain so; lost time can never be retrieved.

 

It has been tried; some have tried hard and others are still trying, by “re-writing history” but it is of no avail.

 

What has passed in lost opportunities, wrongs and errors of judgment of the recent past have all gone; tragically enough the sins of the past will be compounded by more errors and omissions in efforts to cover up for the sins of the Fathers; the children will reap the fruits of the whirlwinds that the Fathers have sown.

I have decided not to include any more quotes or links in this Post because too much has been done in that regard already.  Richard Dawkins is just one more opinionated fool that stepped into the current void the other day.

 

Where are we in the World today?

 

We are sitting on the precipice of an economic disaster.  Religion and wars with words on religion as we have never experienced in the past are sweeping across the oceans.  We don’t need Richard Dawkins and his ilk stirring in the brew; it is ugly enough.

 

Voters in the so-called Western World are making it quite clear that they are disenchanted with their Governments, but even John McCain is calling for the nukes to go out and bomb the World apart.  Thank the Lord Russia and China is keeping their heads even though Russia recently absorbed a vicious punch.

 

Where did it all go wrong?  My answer is it happened in the 50 years from 1960 to 2010.  In what should have been the healing decades after the wars of the previous 50 years something horribly went wrong.  Despite IT and the abilities through that of uniting the World, we have had the exact opposite.  An era in which communication should have made it possible to heal and repair old wounds and differences; instead it produced greater conflict, increased poverty and levels of greed previously denied but on which strife can flourish.

Then you wonder why kids just out of high school don’t know how far China is from Russia? Ask any number in your town and photograph the blank stares in the eyes nine out of ten times, if not all ten. But they will all walk around with tablets and laptops or smart phones.

Then add two and two together and let your mind roam about the fact that they all have the vote! What is this World coming to?

Google got their cookies and brain noodles scrambled

Messrs. Google & Co

 You got your brain cookies scrambled and your hi-tech noodles in a mess.

 This is the message I get when I try to log into Gmail:

 “Oops! Your browser seems to have cookies disabled. Make sure cookies are enabled or try opening a new browser window. [?]”

I didn’t change my Password and told you so. I didn’t ask for a verification code.  The one you sent me is not asked for anywhere anyway.

I am still on Windows XP and I am not in the least interested in your wars with Windows.

I don’t need a new Browser. Everything that I need to do gets done by my old Windows Internet Explorer Browser and if any new classy lot tries to get me into a new Browser I just wipe their name off my contact list.

I need a new browser like I need a hole in the head.

Get your cookies unscrambled; you are not yet ruling the World. And get my email address working, unless you want me and thousands of others to go somewhere else for email.

PS: Anyone ever tried to email Google?

Sundays, sunny days and clear skies

To a dear friend I care for and sommer to all of you.

It’s not bad here at 2015/06/21 09:43:24 AM on my computer this morning.

Today is the shortest day in our hemisphere; my weather program says sunrise at 07:47 and sunset at 17:47 i.e. exactly 10 hours sunlight. Some years ago I did the East Coast of America in June and picked a place called East Point in Maine to overnight and wait for the 4^th of July. In your own Motorhome you can stand wherever you want to anyway. East Point is more or less on latitude 45 and happens to be the Eastern-most point of the ole US of A. It’s also the home base of the Maine Lobster. The mid-day temperature was Hotazel like in the Western Transvaal in mid December.

Did you know that the sun runs faster near end March and end September than June up north and December down here? At “full speed” it regularly moves up to 3 minutes per day but slows down from early June or December and often stands dead still for two or three days at a time for refueling, maintenance and taking on migrant labor to repair and replace whatever is needed for the return run? It often remains stationary for almost a week around 21^st June and December. It’s all high-tech scientifically mille-seconds accurate.

You can easily prove it with a simpler example; watching a pumpkin plant from the day it sprouts the first leave above ground. You will also note that the grown pumpkin doesn’t roll off the earth at night time.

All migrant workers are engaged for exactly ten days at a time; they have to get off before the permanent crew members restart the engines. When old Sun hits the Equator March and September it really goes at top speed sometimes almost touching 4 minutes on a good day.

Africa 21 years ago Today Part One

It was Tuesday April 27^th when the clock struck 12 at midnight that the entire Africa was Free at Last; the legitimate black owners of the entire continent were freed and every baby born after midnight that night entered the World as a free person; it is estimated that approximately 1 360 free young ones were born all around the country in the 24 fours that followed; in the first 100 days about 136 000 of them, giving us about half a million new free people by the end of one year after freedom.

At 07:00 AM the next morning the polls opened for all colors and by that night the freedom fires were lit all over the country.

They partied for weeks and the World partied with them. I did too because I had supported the move towards Freedom for all our people for my entire adult life up to that point; that morning I had made my cross on the ballot paper to become a free man too.  It was a time of joy for most.

In Part Two and the others to follow on that we will take a look at Freedom today and how it altered lives of millions in the past 21 years and beyond.

Practice whistling Dixie through your ass but …

Black Africans, I have just had to learn and realized they are right, cannot be racists. The reason is so simple I cannot understand how I missed it even through my extreme liberal years. They are black and black cannot possibly be racist.

 On the other hand and conversely, it is now perfectly clear to me that my mind was previously out of kilter. It was malfunctioning, wrong, skew, just plain dumb.

How can I make such a statement? Easy; with a white skin according to Lady Mali you can stand on your head and if you practice well and long enough you will eventually be able to whistle Dixie through your white ass but you will remain racist by the color of your skin.

Get that? Go on practicing with diligence; sooner or later you will manage a melodious fine rendition of Dixie but you still won’t get the race thingie. We are doomed by the color of our skin. Stupid White Men, as Michael Moore said.

In another report on the inevitable Musk is quoted as saying the “the bloody thing landed OK, then just tipped over and …” the obvious result.

The experiments to land the rocket on a platform in the ocean seems a noble one because it can be rewired or whatever and they can use it again, thus reducing overall expenditure.

What I don’t understand is that they keep on shooting the stuff up into the skies. What on earth for? Oh well, the answer is simple, it is not for on earth or the benefit of anything on earth.

Science badly gone awry; ego of mankind is so great and the poor must pay to maintain the silly efforts.

Greece the EU the WORLD and the ugly TRUTH about MONEY

When love goes out the back door divorce discussions soon end up in fights about money. It can get bad between husband and wife; with so many partners sharing and sleeping around in the EU brothel it may get real messy.

It may even end up worse than the mess we have in South Africa right now.

But don’t you oh great World out there think that you will escape the wrath of the poor.

I have read a number of the prophecies of doom and more often than not had to laugh. Most times they are really nothing but hidden efforts to lure the uninformed into “escape routes” in which the ignorant will lose their money in any event, most times faster than in what they warn you against.

The ugly truth is that almost the entire World Financial System is bankrupt, except maybe [please note the maybe] China and Russia. Yes you may laugh this one off. Most countries are over populated and, again with the exception of China and Russia, are divided within themselves.

In the entire rest of the World financial wizards have convinced governments that the solution is to spend and consume. That is the way to go, they say, and countries where they don’t even have the logistics to get basic foodstuff to the homes of the poor have taken to consumption with glee and enthusiasm.

Now laugh this one off too if you wish.

Greece is sitting with all the aces and all the trump cards. See, they have nothing to lose.

Frau Merkel may just be the first to make one wrong move and the House of cards [computer chip money really] will fall and be blown away by the wind.

 All the money going through the Stock Exchanges of the World isn’t worth a handful of computer chips.
