How ‘Driving Miss Daisy’ Became One of the Most Scorned Best …

12 Dec 2014 … On the 25th anniversary of ‘Driving Miss Daisy’s release, we look back on its reputation as one of the worst Best Picture Oscar winners ever.

To Dance with the White Dog (TV Movie 1993) – IMDb

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0108347/

This is the touching story of an elderly widower trying to work through his grief. When Sam Peek’s beloved wife, Cora, dies, a white dog suddenly materializes as Book published in 1990.

Those were the days when business had principles and honor. They filmed White Dog in Americus GA, my beloved home away from home on Route 19 that enters from the south, runs right through it where it crosses with 280 East and West then goes up north all the way to Canada, I think.

What has happened to that World?

Is all we have left the greed, the gluttony of Velocity Trade out of Toronto Canada and their ilk around the Globe? There is likely one in your country.

Beware. They are all as innocent as Greg Blank:

The Bondage of Freedom or Rapid Forward to the Past

March 10, 2015

Yes, we have made it. Olè Olè, as we head down the tubes.

All Joe, the Plumber’s money, the pensions of people now aged 55 and under and of course every penny of the poor, have been redistributed. It’s all safely recorded on computer chips; done, safe and sealed, down the road of “No Return.”

We have finally entered Mandelaland.

Greece the EU the WORLD and the ugly TRUTH about MONEY

February 21, 2015

Read this:

 http://www.fin24.com/Companies/Financial-Services/ECB-prepares-for-a-Greece-exit-from-eurozone-20150220

When love goes out the back door divorce discussions soon end up in fights about money. It can get bad between husband and wife; with so many partners sharing and sleeping around in the EU brothel it may get real messy.

It may even end up worse than the mess we have in South Africa right now.

But don’t you oh great World out there think that you will escape the wrath of the poor.

I have read a number of the prophecies of doom and more often than not had to laugh. Most times they are really nothing but hidden efforts to lure the uninformed into “escape routes” in which the ignorant will lose their money in any event, most times faster than in what they warn you against.

The ugly truth is that almost the entire World Financial System is bankrupt, except maybe [please note the maybe] China and Russia. Yes you may laugh this one off. Most countries are over populated and, again with the exception of China and Russia, are divided within themselves.

In the entire rest of the World financial wizards have convinced governments that the solution is to spend and consume. That is the way to go, they say, and countries where they don’t even have the logistics to get basic foodstuff to the homes of the poor have taken to consumption with glee and enthusiasm.

Now laugh this one off too if you wish.

Greece is sitting with all the aces and all the trump cards. See, they have nothing to lose.

Frau Merkel may just be the first to make one wrong move and the House of cards [computer chip money really] will fall and be blown away by the wind.

All the money going through the Stock Exchanges of the World isn’t worth a handful of computer chips.

Change you can believe in

October 16, 2014

Ouch, Stupid White Males; that Michael Moore feller had it right all the time.

It has just been announced that the entire African continent will be Free, well fed, slick and happy comes April 27th next year.

We will celebrate our coming of age on that date and be happy for ever more. Saint Mandela is donating it to the continent and we won’t need you guys any longer. Change is coming to Africa.

How?

Now that is a really stupid question, you know. At midnight sharp when the clock introduces the new day we will get everything by flicking our fingers and say what we want.

Say you want a meal for six with vonkelwyn [that is champagne], flick your little finger and the INTERNET WILL LAY THE TABLES, THEY WILL EVEN POUR THE BUBBLY. All you have to do is drink it and eat until there is no more space in the tummy.

If you want to go to Addis Ababa, just flick your finger and the Internet will take you there instantaneously. The roads will become parks and playgrounds for the kiddies; who needs a car to drive?

You guys can keep to your old ways but we won’t need you. Every man, woman and all the kiddies by the dozen will be given free Wi-Fi, broadband at the flick of a finger. The old way of working for a living, planting and delivering truckloads of rotten stinking veggies will be over. The magic Internet will provide.

Cheers World. We have done it.

And now we have a Missing Night too

August 25, 2013

This is getting out of hand and I hasten to explain that I am talking about night like in not white, certainly no White Knight in sight; this one is as black as the night [shucks now we have racial overtones but be that as it may] and as cold as the black dark wet night of August 23rd in the year 2013.

Somebody tried to cover up the theft of a previous day by reversing things but got himself so mixed up that he went in exactly the opposite direction that the other Day thieves tried in their escape; it’s there in hard cold figures, not like in black on white as we used to say before all went black and the clock turned back. We have computers now [yes computers, modern sophisticated hi-tech computers] that the big boys believe to be infallible.

One crooked mind can twist that computer; one with a team can make World Finance look silly. They cannot change night into day but they can cause a complete shut down and dump the World into a mess to ghastly to contemplate.

Run folks; take your savings out of the Stock Exchange and blow it. There may be nothing left if you wait.

The best and hopefully the only scenario facing us is one of two bandit computer chips normally each working for his own profit to face each other during tomorrow night August 26th to 27th to square things up. One chip normally declares his position by 19:00 or thereabouts and the other one by 06:00 early next morning.

As of Saturday 24th the night chip went the other direction away from the afternoon chip at 19:00 the previous evening. In the worst scenario for the World the two will continue on their own separate ways and we will find out about that by 06:00 GMT – 1 Tuesday, August 27th.

We will keep y’all informed from our Observation Post way down in the Deepest South.

Ikepedia on The languages that we Speak part 2

March 31, 2013

I told you in OldSpeak, NewSpeak,…etc. Part 1 that it would be part of a lengthy series.

To even start to find an acceptable or a sufficiently comprehensive definition of speaking one has to go into the source[s] and origin[s] of speech.

The shortest route may serve us well in this case because I want to get back to Orwell 1984 and his NewSpeak as soon as possible.

The first consideration is the natural one; that the ability to speak and the source of the languages that we speak are in the environment where a little baby [or a little animal] first opens his/her eyes to life and becomes aware of sound, only provided that the hearing is normal.

Animal lovers, students of animal life and habits [well supported by science] will tell us that animal speech develops much faster than human speech does because in many instances their lifespan is very short and they have to learn fast in order to survive.  Let us step off animal speech but believe me, it is a wide field; humans should at the very least be aware of the fact that it does indeed exist.

Let us now go back to human speech and stay with it for the purposes of this series.

You can Google or spend as much time as you have or wish to devote in Wikipedia to trace the existence and origins of the thousands of languages and dialects spoken in the World today.  For Ikepedia suffices to state that starting out with the smallest environment of a normal home the young new arrival will in the course of time be Italian, Spanish, Russian, Chinese …….in normal homogenous nations.  In America alone, once having lost the status of homogenous speech, anything becomes possible.  Unfortunately America is not the first or only one in this awkward situation but that is a distinctly separate topic for another day.

It therefore, follows naturally that there must have been sufficient distance between groups or societies to develop separate languages.  Surely no one can argue that.

One important point comes up immediately; human beings think in the language that they speak.  Language thus becomes the symbol of all thought and activity within the boundaries of that group, and achievement, development and the inner fiber of that society is founded in the language that they speak.

Don’t mess with your language.  Next time when we continue it will be back to Orwell.

Government Ponzi Schemes

March 29, 2013

In South Africa a Ponzi Scheme is an Investment Scheme or Trust [often fraudulent] that runs on a pyramid style offering to pay very high interest on investments and the Top guy [s] siphon off great sums of money into private back pockets whilst paying the high interest rates from the cash flow generated by new investments.

It works much like Democracy in America.  A career in Politics pays better than drug trafficking or crime combined.

In South Africa we have gone one step further though I believe that then Americans are learning real fast and are catching up on us.  There was a time in Capitalism that the entrepreneur was the highest earner, obviously as a natural award for risking his own money and bonding his personal assets, but in our New Democracy Government salaries are now way ahead of entrepreneurial income levels.  Parliament first set the example but they were soon overtaken by 8 to 5 Municipal Managers [“Executives”] now “earning” the big bucks, driving the luxury cars and living the high life in the Mansions built for Kings.  Screw the “low-down” working poor and the unemployed, has become the slogan; “let them bake their own cake and eat it”, whilst reducing the smaller entrepreneur to the poor working class and taxing him to pay for the extravagances of the New Rich.

It works like a Ponzi scheme; the only difference is that their one is legal.  Is it not ironic that it seems to surprise them when a private individual starts a small scheme of his own?  Out comes the law: freeze the bank account of the intruder; strip him of his assets; fast act, get him out of the way in no time at all.  They don’t suffer competition easily; after all they are in the Big League and intend to retain the leadership role.

Read some more about one of my favorites; well I was a favorite of them too until I withdrew my investment support:

The Origin, Evolution and the Inevitable Demise of Money Part Three

February 24, 2013

The demise finally came.

Did you know that Colonialization of the World took about 300 years to complete; considering the slow progress during the first hundred years it required at least two hundred more to integrate and overpopulate the Globe, but it required a mere twenty years to undo it.

It took centuries to establish and develop sound money; man needed only fifty years to undo it.

Is it also not strange that the Demise of money happened within the same period that they were undoing Colonialization?  The Gold Standard was demolished in a day.

The relevant time frame for the final demise can be described as the fifty years from 1960 to 2010; money as defined by Adam Smith finally declined in reality with the advent of the new generations of computers from 1990 onwards.  By the time 2010 ended money as a means to create WEALTH HAD ALL BUT CEASED.

A well known columnist recently commented on the book In Gold We Trust by Matthew Bishop and Michael Green; you can read him HERE, while some continue to hope and cling to Gold, and hope for a  Return to the Gold Standard but alas.

When President Nixon signed the departure from that old but by then obsolete guarantee of money in 1971 it was all over.  The Dream had ceased to exist.

There was a funny twist worth a good laugh in the Media just recently. Germany, fearing an invasion from Russia way back during the Cold War had smuggled about 700 tons of gold bars out to place it in “safekeeping” in American Bank Vaults and they now want to cart it back to the Fatherland.  Can you understand the logistics in moving 700 tons of worthless Gold across the oceans?

Finally visit and read The New Economic Rights Alliance by www.newera.org.za while you are laughing.  Just read paragraphs 1 and 2 near the top.

Governments and Banks can’t even print the stuff fast enough and have to resort to the computer chip to create the impression of Neo Money.

 What a way to go?

Solar Heating, Money and Obama

September 2, 2012

Most of my readers know that I am occupied with my own kind of research of Colonialism, and the effects of that period on life today; how we live it and what we do is most often influenced by the history of Colonialism.

When others talk about Colonialism some groups remember slavery; some know sufficient about the subject to talk about the role of Religion in Colonialism but very few are willing to admit that Colonialism had but one purpose; that is even today often denied but the denials are but vainly obscured efforts to hide the sole purpose of Colonialism.

 That purpose was MONEY.

The Colonial powers, Colonists, Independence from Colonial Powers and the desire for Freedom by Colonists were driven by MONEY.

I touched upon some of these matters in my recent Post:

 https://ikejakson.wordpress.com/2012/08/30/the-evolution-volition-and-violation-of-money-in-south-africa/

The aforementioned Post was a bit of satire tongue in cheek where I refer to Darwin because I am amused by the Theory of Evolution and therefore Evolution in the Title.  Then very soon afterwards my good fortune, as happens when one is rewarded for good behavior, allowed my one remaining eye to fall on a Post that landed on my Computer from somewhere.

 It is not my work and I can’t tell you where or how I got it because I don’t remember.  But it is the best work I have ever read about the Origin of Money.  If you have read some of my many Posts on history, on the Internet Development and money you will see why this work left an indelible impression on my personal thoughts.  The Post that you are now reading therefore comes to you with acknowledgement and all credit to the author named James Robertson.  I commend this to any student of History in General, and Money in particular.  The Article is somewhat lengthy but I think you can download it in PDF format to keep and refer back to at leisure;

So, without further ado you can access and save it by pressing right HERE

You may then ask why I am silly enough to add the name Obama in the title of this Post.

Folks, this is Election Time, China is taking over the World; you will have seen/heard all the hue and cry about Apple and Samsung; it tells me only one thing.  The Bama must at least try to appear to look Presidential; a few hits at Samsung and China can do him no harm in November.

As a special to America read:

 http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/newsbysector/energy/9506945/Dark-clouds-gather-over-Chinas-once-booming-solar-industry.html

It may even help get the Bama re-elected and the sober ones in Politics may be forced to pause in their politically motivated support of alternative energy.

The Foundation of Money

June 27, 2012

What money, you may ask? And that will be a good question; yes Good Sir, a good question indeed and I will allow discussion on that. Let us have a look at this thing called Money.

There used to be a time when Governments vowed to exchange a one buck note of money for its value in solid gold but that time … well, it’s a long time ago. There have been many good stories about money including one of my favorites about the fellow in Germany long time ago, stacked all his money in a suitcase and went to the railroad station to spend it because it had become almost worthless, all his savings over a lifetime, but when he turned his back on the suitcase for few minutes he discovered to his amazement that his money was scattered all around the platform but the thief had taken the empty suitcase.

Way back then when money was still real one’s wealth was usually measured in terms of hard assets, land or other real estate; stock in trade in the business was visible in concrete and steel and, if you, for instance, owned a bicycle factory your inventory would include steel, leather, bells and whistles of the actual hardware through the various stages of manufacturing.

The natural thing any wise bicycle manufacturer would do in those days would be to keep an eye on the vacant lot next door with a view to buying it to enlarge his facilities when the time was right and when it came he would call the bank; a manager would come over and look at the lot and advance him the money.

Those days ended I would guess around 1990, about the time we got a thing called The Webby or as they would have us all call it The Mighty Internet, the Space Highway some call it and we all rise up in rage when any effort is mentioned to curtail or lessen our Freedom in Space.

You guys will argue with me now but I wish you to think about it. Who owns the Internet? The robbers, thieves and the drug cartels, ole friend, they own and operate it.

But what does that have to do with the Foundation of Money, you will ask?

Good Sir[s], you really think that the woes of the Financial World are over? Well, you had better think and have another guess, Good Sir[s], and think well, mind that. It ain’t over Sir; in fact, it has only just started.

The Webby and its owners have converted your money to entries on a computer chip.

Oh yeah, better watch your suitcase; spend the money that you have now; spend it and borrow as much as you can and spend that too. Debt is about the wisest investment anyone can have these days because The Foundation of Money exists no more.

The Webby is about to take over. Freedom, you ask? It’s a myth, good Sir[s]. Read all about it in the Euro Barclays Bank Scandals and what will happen to Greece/Spain to mention a few as things unfold over the next few weeks.
