Going Blind Getting Old Going Home and getting ready to leave

May 5, 2017

This has been in my mind for some time now and when I turned the computer on I noticed that the clock had just clicked over into the new day in our part of the Globe.

I don’t at this stage know how it is going to end but that is of no concern to me; it is something that I have to work out for myself as I go along.

Of course, it was triggered by my Post immediately before this one but I did not have this in mind when I did the first one.  Either way, this may become my swansong or it may not.

I have had this in mind with many headings for it; picked the one I am using on the spur of the moment because there is a link somewhere.  It does not matter really, not this time anyway.

Why I do it needs a few words.  Maybe it is for my children; maybe it is for my family; some of it is certainly for my friends, but none of it is a cry for help, a scream of anguish or just empty words.  Maybe it is all of that in parts; it is of no concern to me what or how “the World” will interpret it but my intentions are certainly in part some sort of a desire to tell the world what I stand for.

It is not a perfect World we live in at this time; there was a time when it was almost perfect but then We the People of the World screwed it up.  Now I have it; something tells me that is the point that has been nagging me into this direction.

The World, or the Globe as we sometimes call Earth, was made to perfection by the Grace of God the Creator of all Life.  Let me re-state and add one word to my previous definition; it is my firm belief and I will never change on that:

 God=Creator=Allah=Jaweh=Jehovah=Creator=God.

People who know me will notice that I do not participate in discussions on this point.  I respect all the Great Religions of the World and there is no place in my Home for anyone that does not adhere to that principle.  I fail to understand how someone that does not respect the Religion of another one can expect that one to respect the prejudice of the first one.

On the Earth?

Man and Life of flesh and blood as we know it are Earthbound; the seas and the rivers are for fish and other water creatures; space is for birdlife and millions of other little creations that are there to contribute to life on earth but otherwise space is there to give us space to breath and to replenish life as we consume it.  The Moon and Mars, to mention these two because it is in the News Media, are not the terrain of Mankind; we don’t belong there; we have no business to be there and we won’t get anywhere near to ever living there.  Life as we know it is Earthbound.  Period!

Race and skin color as so often in the Media must be mentioned.  To me these two concepts are not even remotely connected; to equate the two concepts is fallacy and distortion of the facts.

Skin color is no indication of good or bad; it was part of the Creation and that is all that needs to be said about it.  Skin color does not make you good or bad, inferior or superior, or equal to any other skin color.  I reject the notion that it does and I have lived my life on that principle.

Race to me refers to what you may loosely call nationhood, and that in turn will take you to customs in Race and Nations.

Customs may be good or bad; we have both of them in the World and that is what divides us for very logical reasons but we must tread with care not to confuse good or bad customs with skin color and race.

Good customs can make strong Nations and Races; in this Russia and China are the best examples of this day and age.  Americans are not a Race or a Nation neither is Africa nor any of the islands scattered around the oceans.  They are at best the product of migration through the centuries of time.

Migration is not a new thing; neither is tribal movement.  These two aspects have developed since Mankind was created and will continue as long as we remain, or until we destroy ourselves.  The latter is however, most unlikely; that we shall have to curb population growth is a hard fact that will have to be faced pretty soon [and it is good to see some efforts in that direction] or Nature will do it for us by means of food shortages, plagues or afflictions that will reduce our numbers.

War may help to diminish over population; in fact a good size War may be a good idea right now but the wrong people will die.  I don’t see War as the solution.

So we come to generations.  In human terms one generation roughly translates into 25 years, or four generations in every one hundred years.  New generations produce more migration and changes in cultures of nations and races [the latter distinctly the opposite of races by skin color] and this may increase the possibility of War …..

That gets me back to where I started and it is now 1:36 AM on this new day.

Maybe a good size revolution, make that plural for the world round, will be the initial answer to curb the excesses of the rich and the privileged that are only interested in getting richer, for whatever reason I have never been able to understand.

The French Revolution was a good thing in more ways than one.  Signs from America and Africa signal the possibility of such action and it may become impossible to stop it; it surely will reduce the influence of the “undesirable” in Politics and control of the Money supply in goods and services.

My oh my, here I almost forgot about the reason for this Post.  I am now just into my fourth generation [at 77 soon to be] and can’t have much time left.  All the Great Books of all the Great Religions more or less concur on the lifespan of three score plus ten, and I am now in three score plus 17 well over the period of grace.

But I just recently managed to prevail over an adult life long affliction of the mindset that I was born with.  I have a fight on with two bastards that asked for it and I am going to let them have it before I pack up to go home to Centurion, to be followed or preceded by going Home to the place across the river, or the sky as you may prefer, to join my parents and my two beloved brothers.  I am hoping for the first one because that is the only one I can influence.

This Post is dedicated to Iowa Jim and Jay from NC USA.  Thank you guys.

Of Time and a World view by a good American

March 24, 2017

From a Facebook Post by my ole email, Jim in Iowa.

 Verbatim, no editing.

“Last month, a world-wide telephone survey was conducted by the U.N.

The only question asked was: “Would you please give your honest opinion about possible solutions to the food shortage in the rest of the world?”

The survey was a complete failure because:

In Eastern Europe they didn’t know what “honest” meant.

In Western Europe they didn’t know what “shortage” meant.

In Africa they didn’t know what “food” meant.

In China they didn’t know what “opinion” meant.

In the Middle East they didn’t know what “solution” meant.

In South America and Russia they didn’t know what “please” meant.

In the USA they didn’t know what “the rest of the world” meant.

And in Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Britain everyone hung up as soon as they heard the Indian accent.”

Do allow me just a small point on Africa, ole Friend, seing you admit the truth about America.  We have more than 50 countries in Africa, with a combined population of over 1.2 billion.  They don’t agree on anything.

We get on well with Russia [you lost out on that one]; we buy Chinese pick-up trucks at half the price of a Ford and the Korean Kia has just about taken over the luxury SUV class.  A Kia owner wouldn’t take a second look at a Jeep Cherokee.  You lost out badly on that one.

Thanks however, you made my day.

Merry Christmas 2016

December 18, 2016

Just 7 Suns from today will get us to Xmas morning 2016 and I shall start early this year because it will be my seventh one of Grace.  I hope for many more and my personal medical attendant says he cannot find any reason why I should not reach the ton; on my side I don’t want to rob anyone else going for it and thus as a human who has had his fair share:

Merry Christmas to all of you who contributed to another one for me and my cousin and Uncle Oom Wennie in my absence from Facebook.

Thank you Folks.  We have family in Oz, Paraguay, Netherlands, Ye olde country England, and quite a number with Uncle Sam.  Thank you all.

Let us remember the good things and the Blessings of our Lord God and Creator during 2016.

The year 2017 will be another year to deal with; for now it can wait.  I love you and yours for 2016.  Enjoy.

Merry Christmas 2016.

Of Time and Illusions in Great Tales of Time Part Two and of the Inconvenient Truth for England

November 6, 2016

Today in History, I bring you a somewhat different view of the Inconvenient Truth as oppose the common illusions of Time gone by.

This day in 1605, November 5th were it not for one Englishman warning his brother who was a Lord not to go into Parliament that day and him, the Lord one, putting the warning out Guy Fawkes would have blown the Mother of Parliaments into smithereens and with it probably could have saved the World from Freedom and Democracy.

When they became a Democracy is of course, a matter of conjecture and many Tall Tales of Illusions; only someone disavowed of all common sense would have called it a Democracy in India and their Ceylon, the latter occupied by that name they had given to Sri Lanka to which “The Great Mother of All Democracy” had banned and delivered by ship all the able bodied men who had resisted them in the Independent Republics of Transvaal and Free State that they had invaded for our gold, leaving a scorched earth and the lonely wives with children behind to die while their Husbands and Fathers suffered their fate in a distant land.

What a pity Guy Fawkes failed?  He could even have saved the English from themselves and left a free Scotland and Ireland, the latter whom would not have sunk into the immoral mess the UK is today.

But the mess as is evident in the collapse of their NHS may just run its full course and rid The World of the fallout that must follow on the demise of the Illusions of Freedom and Democracy.

Good Lord, why did America want to save them from Hitler?

In closure, my email address below still exists but I have been barred from accessing it myself, by the graciousness of a Party [or Parties] who are no fond of the common Truth.  I have checked in so far as any human being can do and Google through time and endless efforts clearly states that I exist but they can’t recognize me.  Anyone emailing me, do remind Google of my plight if you can locate a human brain hidden somewhere amongst the machines.  In the meantime WordPress still recognizes me and you will reach me with any comments in this Post, or in my Facebook.

Farewell to Life

August 2, 2015

Saturday, August 01, 2015

Don’t worry my friends and some of the family. I will be OK but at some stage soon before many more 1st of August’s life will cease.

In fact, you can hardly call it life the way we used to define it. I shall survive because I am taking precautions to keep my brain alive; the farming community around my area of abode will plant and harvest; ants, flies, little worms and cockroaches will roam and do what they do to maintain the soil and keep it clean. The brain dead will ambulate for a while and drop away; more work for the ants, flies, worms and roaches to convert to material for the soil.

I have seen this coming since 1990. The end of Life is nigh; hi-tech will hasten it and I expect the finale any day or week; maybe it will take a few months but surely then it will be done.

It’s a freezing 3 F degrees out here this morning at 04:17 AM; an unusual cold climate change that came much too soon after the global cooling of last year. I suspect that to be a large part of the cause of the massive brain death rate syndrome that is spreading like a tsunami over the land.

Our electric power is still on when it happens to be on; good men in the coal mines and oil industry are keeping it up [no place for women or pansies in that task; it needs men with brawn and brains]; our fixed landline phones are still on most of the time [again it’s men with strong arms and legs climbing up these strong four or five meters high posts to connect the copper wire. We have some problems with the major [well, we only have one] landline supplier that also wants part of the wireless cellular cake but fortunately for us keep on screwing it up so it is not getting anywhere.

The high-tech wireless industry is on the verge of collapse. Let by a group we call Nebo Voda Non-Com.

Just look at this and tell me whether I am completely nuts. My account is paid to date. They confirm it. I have just got my new data allocation for the month, a little over 4 hours ago; they confirm that. Why do I get this?

http://static.vodacom.co.za/personal/main/weboutoffunds

I checked it again at 2015/08/01 05:10 AM. There you see it; the computer tells me so. But there is an entire Web page saying the opposite:

You have run out of data and airtime

To continue browsing the Internet, simply recharge with airtime. Save on data charges, and click here to buy a data bundle www.vodacom.mobi.

You can also transfer a data bundle from any other Vodacom cellphone directly to your data SIM card, no hassle.
STEP 1: Dial *111#, FREE from your Vodacom cellphone.
STEP 2: Select Bundle Transfer and choose the bundle you want to send to your data SIM card.
STEP 3: Start browsing again!

Got a cellphone or a tablet?

You can load your airtime by removing your data SIM card from your device and inserting it into a cellphone. Then recharge like you would with any cellphone.

Once you have airtime, you can purchase a data bundle in one of the following ways:

On your Vodacom cellphone:
Dial *111# and select “bundle purchases”.
Or
Send an SMS to 100 (FREE) with the bundle size you need
E.g.: “MyMeg 500” to 100

On the web:
Visit vodacom.co.za, sign in to your My Vodacom account and click on ‘Buy bundles’
Or
Visit the Vodacom Online Shop at vodacom.co.za/shop and buy data with your bank card.

Got a Vodacom 3G modem or router?

Use our Vodafone Mobile Broadband (VMB) Connection Manager to convert airtime into data:

Go to ‘Buy once-off data bundle’ on the ‘My Account’ drop-down list to select a data bundle

Or

Send a FREE SMS from your VMB Connection Manager with the data bundle size you want to 100.

For example: If you want to buy a MyMeg 250 data bundle, SMSMyMeg 250 or for a 1GB, SMSMyGig 1 to 100

For assistance, please call Vodacom Customer Care on 082 111, FREE from your Vodacom cellphone.

Farewell to Life my friends. It looks sure that by end of day the entire work force in high-tech will be down with BDS [dead brains].

As I said I have seen it coming since 1990. The invisible machine has taken over; the machine is running man. We may as well close schools and cease education; shucks that’s probably where the new generations fall victim to the BDS.

Farewell to Life as we once knew it, my Friends. I am going to plant some cabbages, some tomatoes and early spring peas today.

Progress Report 8/1/2015 6:37:37 AM, time as by my computer:

I tried their emergency number again and found one that can talk and decided on a different approach. First I insulted his Company then asked him how long he has been with them. “Three years,” he said. Then I asked him whether he knows that the entire Company is fucked up. You won’t believe it he laughed and said, “Yes Sir.” So what could I do? I thanked him for his honesty and he then admitted that there is a big problem right now; could not even guess when it will be solved but honest enough to tell me so. We parted in good spirits; at least one of them has a live brain.

Update: 8/2/2015 3:26 AM. It was still off at just after one AM and I checked when I woke up a few miutes ago. It was on.

PS: The blank spaces in the No-Com Voda Nebo-Com are from their site. I dunno how to remove blanks spaces.

The Education level of the Internet

July 5, 2015

Try changing the font display size in Google Chrome; double dare you. You will find the answer to the Headline question; have your pick:

Zero

Zilch

Nil

Nothing

Minus sub Zero

Destroying all brain functions

Etc. Repeat one million times.

Then you wonder why kids just out of high school don’t know how far China is from Russia? Ask any number in your town and photograph the blank stares in the eyes nine out of ten times, if not all ten. But they will all walk around with tablets and laptops or smart phones.

Then add two and two together and let your mind roam about the fact that they all have the vote! What is this World coming to?

Happy 4th of July, America

July 4, 2015

The Hot One in the skies has made his turn and added one minute sunshine to the Southern Hemisphere today.

 See:

 https://ikejakson.wordpress.com/2015/06/21/sundays-sunny-days-and-clear-skies/

You guys will see him at his highest straight above Eastport Maine today. Sorry, I had made a mistake and called it East Point in the above Post.

Jim, come in from Iowa and get me the best pic you can get of the whirlpool just above that place where you buy the live lobster and they cook it for you on the spot.

And watch the sun moving down; it has turned only 4 minutes since June 21st but it will pick up speed now.

Happy 4th of July, and Remember the Alamo.

Google got their cookies and brain noodles scrambled

June 22, 2015

Messrs. Google & Co

You got your brain cookies scrambled and your hi-tech noodles in a mess.

This is the message I get when I try to log into Gmail:

“Oops! Your browser seems to have cookies disabled. Make sure cookies are enabled or try opening a new browser window. [?]”

I didn’t change my Password and told you so. I didn’t ask for a verification code.  The one you sent me is not asked for anywhere anyway.

I am still on Windows XP and I am not in the least interested in your wars with Windows.

I don’t need a new Browser. Everything that I need to do gets done by my old Windows Internet Explorer Browser and if any new classy lot tries to get me into a new Browser I just wipe their name off my contact list.

I need a new browser like I need a hole in the head.

Get your cookies unscrambled; you are not yet ruling the World. And get my email address working, unless you want me and thousands of others to go somewhere else for email.

PS: Anyone ever tried to email Google?

Sundays, sunny days and clear skies

June 21, 2015

To a dear friend I care for and sommer to all of you.

It’s not bad here at 2015/06/21 09:43:24 AM on my computer this morning.

Today is the shortest day in our hemisphere; my weather program says sunrise at 07:47 and sunset at 17:47 i.e. exactly 10 hours sunlight. Some years ago I did the East Coast of America in June and picked a place called East Point in Maine to overnight and wait for the 4th of July. In your own Motorhome you can stand wherever you want to anyway. East Point is more or less on latitude 45 and happens to be the Eastern-most point of the ole US of A. It’s also the home base of the Maine Lobster. The mid-day temperature was Hotazel like in the Western Transvaal in mid December.

Did you know that the sun runs faster near end March and end September than June up north and December down here? At “full speed” it regularly moves up to 3 minutes per day but slows down from early June or December and often stands dead still for two or three days at a time for refueling, maintenance and taking on migrant labor to repair and replace whatever is needed for the return run? It often remains stationary for almost a week around 21st June and December. It’s all high-tech scientifically mille-seconds accurate.

You can easily prove it with a simpler example; watching a pumpkin plant from the day it sprouts the first leave above ground. You will also note that the grown pumpkin doesn’t roll off the earth at night time.

All migrant workers are engaged for exactly ten days at a time; they have to get off before the permanent crew members restart the engines. When old Sun hits the Equator March and September it really goes at top speed sometimes almost touching 4 minutes on a good day.

Come stay with me one day and I will show you my statistics of the four seasons, from which one feller name of Ike Jakson developed the modern Flat Earth Theory.

Can you buy me some Hulett’s brown caramel sugar and bring it with you next time you visit old civilization? Ockie has run out of it at the Oasis Supermarket. I shall refund you.

PS: The word “sommer” in the first line is a Dutch word, meaning sommer, like in it’s sommer a lekka word.

The bloody thing landed OK, then

April 17, 2015

Pray, tell me what this stupid bastard, funded by NASA with billions of dough, is trying to achieve?

http://news.yahoo.com/spacex-tries-again-launch-space-station-groceries-154114048.html

In another report on the inevitable Musk is quoted as saying the “the bloody thing landed OK, then just tipped over and …” the obvious result.

The experiments to land the rocket on a platform in the ocean seems a noble one because it can be rewired or whatever and they can use it again, thus reducing overall expenditure.

What I don’t understand is that they keep on shooting the stuff up into the skies. What on earth for? Oh well, the answer is simple, it is not for on earth or the benefit of anything on earth.

Science badly gone awry; ego of mankind is so great and the poor must pay to maintain the silly efforts.
